How it works
Money to fund ORMAP comes from a one dollar per document recording and filing fee charged
at the county level. These funds are deposited and credited to the fund on a quarterly basis.
Grant Process:
- The county makes sure that their Business Plan on the ORMAP site is up-to-date.
- The county submits the completed ORMAP grant application to DOR on or before the due date.
-
DOR reviews the proposal for completeness, compliance with
the Funding Criteria
and ORMAP Policy.
- The proposal is submitted to the technical group (Tech Group) for review.
- A county representative attends the Tech Group meeting(s) to explain the proposal.
- The Tech Group sends a recommendation to the Advisory Committee and to the Department of Revenue.
- The advisory committee gives its recommendation to the Department, who will either approve or deny the proposal.
